The Annual Reports for the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council is a review of the previous year. A discussion of each department highlighting their projects, goals and accomplishments as well as the background history of the RPC can be found when reading through the report.


Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)
The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) update is used to address problems concerning economic development from a regional perspective. The Council has undertaken a variety of research projects, thereby producing data specific to particular issues, which are all discussed in this report.


Developments of Regional Impact (DRI)
The coordination and review of any large-scale development project which, because of its character, magnitude, or location, could have a substantial effect upon the health, safety, or welfare of the citizens of more than one county. Such a project, known as a Development of Regional Impact (DRI) is typically complex and requires input from many reviewing agencies.


Lee County Master Mitigation Plan
The Lee County Master Mitigation Plan (Mitigation Plan) is an investment strategy for economic stability. The Mitigation Plan will, once adopted, be a component of the implementation of the Lee County Comprehensive Plan. Implementation includes incorporation into the Administrative Code, capital budget direction, and land development code reform.

2006 State of Estero Bay Report
The 2006 State of Estero Bay Report is an update of the changes of Estero Bay from the original report created in 1997.


Strategic Regional Policy Plan (SRPP)
The Strategic Plan consists of two volumes. Volume One, the Description of the Region, is an updated version of Volume One of the Comprehensive Plan. As its name implies, the Description of the Region contains a variety of information and statistical data about Southwest Florida.
